The present invention relates to 2-mercaptomethyl-propan1,3-dithiol polyethylene glycol which is adsorbed onto the surface of metal when a metal nanosensor is being manufactured such that adsorption of non-specific protein can be inhibited, and a preparation method thereof. The 2-mercaptomethyl-propan1,3-dithiol polyethylene glycol for reforming a metal surface of the present invention is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R_1 is any one selected from hydrogen, a C_1-C_7 alkyl group, a C_6-C_10 aryl group, a C_6-C_12 aryloxy group, a C_1-C_10 alkoxy group, a C_3-C_12 heteroaryl group, a C_6-C_10 arylcarbonyl group, a C_1-C_10 alkylcarbonyl group, a C_3-C_20 cycloalkyl group, a C_2-C_7 alkenyl group, and AA; n is an integer of 1 to 100; and R_2 and R_3 are each independently any one selected from hydrogen, a C_1-C_7 alkyl group, a C_6-C_10 aryl group, and a C_3-C_12 heteroaryl group. According to the present invention, 2-mercaptomethyl-propan1,3-dithiol polyethylene glycol having three substituted thiols can be commercially usefully used by exhibiting a superior chelating effect than commercialized O-[2-(3-mercaptopropionylamino)ethyl]-O-methylpolyethylene glycol by increasing chelating on the metal surface when a polymer sensor of a metal nanopattern is being manufactured.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
