Quiescent Power Control System Using Smart Plug

The present invention relates to a control system for a smart plug operation. The control system prevents data loss due to a communication failure of a smart plug when operating the smart plug and automatically recognizes and resets a standby power reference value of an electronic device when the electronic device establishes a new connection or changes the connection in the single smart plug. More specifically, the system for controlling the standby power of the electronic device by using the smart plug includes: the smart plug which measures the power consumption of the connected electronic device, compares the measured power consumption with an input and predetermined standby power reference value to determine standby power, and controls the power supply of the electronic device selectively; and an operating server which is connected to the smart plug through a wireless communication network, receives the power consumption of the electronic device measured by the smart plug, stores the standby power reference value information of individual electronic devices, searches for the electronic device connected to the smart plug, and transmits selected standby power reference value information to the smart plug.
