The present invention relates to a method for driving a worm shaft of a worm speed reducer for stainless pipe milling apparatus line facilities, and more particularly, a method which prevents occurrence of defects due to a scratch on a surface caused by an increase in a raw material by horizontal deflection and an elongation ratio during a circumferential rotation when a stainless flat material is molded into a circular pipe. To this end, according to the method of the present invention, a worm speed reducer, in which warm shafts having plurality of worm screws formed at predetermined intervals is installed in a housing, a lower worm wheel is installed at a lower end of the worm screws, and an upper worm is installed at an upper end of the worm screws at a position corresponding to the lower worm wheel, is provided. Also, a universal joint connected to the upper worm wheel of the worm speed reducer to transmit power is removed from an upper end roller disposed in a break-down roller part among molding parts of a pipe milling apparatus, and the universal joint transmitting the power is connected to a lower end roller disposed on the break-down roller part to transmit the power only to the lower end roller. In addition, the universal joint is all connected to the upper and lower rollers disposed in a pin pass roller part, a welding part and a fixed-shape part to transmit the power to the upper and lower rollers. The worm shafts are separately provided by the break-down roller part, the pin pass roller part, the welding part, the fixed-shape part in the molding part, and the separately provided worm shafts are connected by the coupling and the universal joint to be detached from each other.
