The present invention relates to a fermentation accelerator for livestock manure composting, and more specifically, to the fermentation accelerator containing a porous material, plaster, and quicklime as main elements. According to the present invention, the method for prepating fermentation accelerator includes the steps of: applying a temperature condition of 200-300C to the porous material, cooling the porous material in an oxygen tank at room temperature to increase the oxygen absorption amount of the porous material during cooling operation; preparing a first mixture in powder form by mixing and grinding the porous material having the increased oxygen absorption amount with the plaster and the quicklime in a predetermined composition ratio; and preparing a second mixture in granule form by adding binder powder to the first mixture in powder form or preparing a second mixture in fine powder form having a certain particle size by grinding the first mixture again. According to the present invention, the fermentation accelerator for livestock manure composting reacts with moisture in the livestock manure and heats up the livestock manure to temperatures of 50 to 80C, thereby facilitating composting of the livestock manure in winter and making useful compost containing beneficial bacteria. Further, the numerous micropores in the porous material, the plaster, and the quicklime contain oxygen, and the oxygen accelerates fermentation of the livestock manure. The micropores also smoothly absorb and remove odors of the livestock manure. The fermentation accelerator in the granule form does not disperse into the air while being top-dressed to the livestock manure and avoids being wasted or impairing users health by entering the users eyes or lungs.
