The present invention provides magnetic beads modified with graphene oxide, a production method of the magnetic beads, and a separation method for nucleic acids using the same. The magnetic beads modified with oxidized graphene of the present invention can be usefully used for a simple and convenient method for purifying single stranded DNA or RNA in biotechnology where extraction of small molecule RNA such as miRNA is essential.
