The present invention relates to a calcium binding protein and a coacervate formed thereby. The novel recombinant calcium binding protein of the present invention can bind to calcium ions and is excellent in the ability to form a coacervate, so that a calcium binding protein and a coacervate using the same are mass produced and useful industrially.
