A method for producing an all-aromatic liquid-crystalline polyester amide resin and a method for producing an all-aromatic liquid-crystalline polyester amide resin compound are disclosed. The disclosed method for producing a wholly aromatic liquid-crystalline polyester amide resin uses a monomer having both a hydroxyl group and an acetylamino group, or a monomer having a hydroxyl group and another monomer having an acetylamino group. The method for producing the disclosed wholly aromatic liquid-crystalline polyester amide resin compound uses the wholly aromatic liquid-crystalline polyester amide resin produced by the above method.
