An embodiment of the present invention relates to a transmission device of a visual-MIMO communication system using color space-based image processing, which comprises: a color space modulator modulating information data and sync data into color symbol data by referencing a color space in order to synchronize with a reception device; a converter converting the modulated color symbol data into parallel data to correspond to the size of an LED array; a mapping unit mapping the converted parallel data to the LED array according to mapping rules; and the LED array emitting visible rays corresponding to the mapped parallel data, wherein the color space modulator receives inputted information on a target color, checks the number of information data and sync data, forms a constellation diagram of any one among a line, various shapes of polygons (n-polygon) and a circle, which has a target color as a center in the color space, determines color symbol data on a circumference of the constellation diagram in consideration of the checked number of data, and determines constellation coordinate values of the information data and the sync data among the determined color symbol data. The present invention is able to designate information data and sync data within an allowable limit of a reception device.
