The present invention relates to a Staphylococcus aureus-specific novel monoclonal antibody, hybridoma for producing the same, a detection composition containing the same, and a detection method and a detection kit including the same. The monoclonal antibody according to the present invention can selectively recognize only Staphylococcus aureus in a sample so as to be usefully used for the detection diagnosis of Staphylococcus aureus.
