Provided is a guided analysis system. Simply speaking, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, provided is a guided analysis system. The guided analysis system comprises a memory where commands capable of being read by a computer are stored. The system comprises a processor which defines a problem, identifies and prepares one or several data sets associated with the problem, and analyzes the one or several data sets to generate one or several models, wherein the processor additionally is configured to use a guided analysis workflow to determine one or several solutions to the problem, based on the one or several models. The guided analysis workflow includes a plurality of workflow resources associated with each of several steps of the guided analysis workflow, wherein the workflow resources can be presented to a user in one or several steps and at least one among analytical and statistical information related to one belonging to the several steps is provided. In addition, a user can select one or several analysis techniques and related parameters with regard to the corresponding step. The present invention is able to facilitate process, accuracy, and the speed in solving problems.
