The present invention relates to a PWM single phase inverter circuit having device arrangement for loss reduction, and an operation method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for arranging a circuit device in which a complementary switch connected to a neutral point of a commercial power supply and turning on and off the commercial power supply with a frequency of 60 Hz uses an IGBT device, whereas a switch connected to a live of the commercial power supply driven with a high frequency uses a MOSFET device since reducing a switching loss is important.
