The present invention relates to a wire material to be used for a vehicle exposed to various corrosion environments, a coupling bolt of a structure and the like, and a method for manufacturing the same. The wire material includes 0.35-0.55 weight% of C, 0.05-1.0 weight% of Si, 0.1-1.5 weight% of Mn, 0.3-1.5 weight% of Cr, 0.015 weight% or less of P, 0.010 weight% or less of S, 0.010-0.10 weight% of Al, 0.003-0.020 weight% of N, 0.05-0.5 weight% of V, 0.1-0.5 weight% of Ni, 0.1-1.5 weight% of Mo, and the remainder of Fe or inevitable impurities.
