The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a diamond coating tool. A pretreatment process improves adhesion strength of a substrate and a diamond film deposited to determine life of a coating tool. A manufacturing process comprises: a first step of chemically etching the substrate for deposition of diamond; a second step of including the pretreatment process using an ultrasonic oscillator by using a pretreatment solution mixed with metal powder having the size of nanoparticles and nano-diamond powder; and a third step of synthesizing the diamond film to the pretreated substrate, by using hydrogen and methane gas. The method for manufacturing a diamond coating tool can manufacture the diamond coating tool with the excellent adhesion strength between the diamond film and the substrate (base material) composed by the pretreatment process using the powder mixed with the nanoparticles. Moreover, the method for manufacturing a diamond coating tool enables diamond coating in tungsten carbide containing 10 wt% or greater of Co, which cannot be coated with the diamond by an existing method.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
