The present invention proposes a multi-articulated foldable extinguishing device and method for suppressing indoor initial fire which is operated in association with measurement of the three-dimensional position of a point of ignition. To this end, the present invention includes: recognizing the occurrence of a fire through a plurality of sensors installed in an indoor space; receiving fire occurrence information from the plurality of sensors and positioning a fire occurrence position through three-dimensional positioning; notifying a terminal of a manager or a fire fighting agency of the fire occurrence information and the fire occurrence position through wireless communication; and operating a fire extinguishing device according to the fire occurrence information and the fire occurrence position so as to extinguish the fire.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
