The present invention relates to a process for the production of biohydrocarbons, which process comprises (1) obtaining from a bio-renewable feedstock, preferably by deoxygenation, hydrocracking, hydrotreating or hydrocracking, wherein at least 65% (2) pyrolysis of the isomeric material at a temperature of up to 825 DEG C (coil exit temperature) to produce the biohydrocarbons. The hydrocarbons may be further polymerized to obtain bio-polymers such as polyolefins, polypropylenes, polyethylenes or copolymers such as polyethylene terephthalate. The present invention also relates to hydrocarbons obtainable by the process.
