The present invention relates to a method and a device for generating a log based on packet gather per session in a big data system. According to the present invention, the device includes: a session management part containing multiple packet storage parts generated for each session established between a client and a server; a packet distribution part which receives a packet exchanged between a client and a server to distribute the same to the packet storage parts per each session; and a log generation part which reassembles a request packet and a response packet stored within the packet storage part for each session into a request message and a response message, thereby generating a log by mapping information extracted from the request message and response message. According to the present invention, by mapping the request message and the response message corresponding to the same, a log can be generated, which is advantageous. Also, by discriminating the request packet from the response packet, and storing the same as a stack, the process of SYN, ACK, etc., on the network communications can all be viable, and gathering a swift log becomes possible through the packets.
