MULTI-BLOCK LUT METHOD AND SYSYEM FOR PERFORMING DIGITAL PREDISTORTION TECHNIQUE BASED ON MULTI-BLOCK LUT

A method for estimating a digital predistortion coefficient based on multi-block (MB) LUT includes a step of extracting the input and output data of a power amplifier, a step of estimating an inverse function coefficient through postdistortion calculator operation based on the extracted input and output data, and a step of storing the estimated inverse function coefficient in a postdistortion calculator LUT; and a step of reflecting the inverse function coefficient stored in the postdistortion calculator LUT as an LUT predistortion coefficient of the predistortion calculator. The step of estimating the inverse function coefficient is performed by using the input and output data as much as the block size of the power amplifier. When there is an unexpected inverse function coefficient, an inverse characteristic coefficient can be estimated by applying a linear interpolation method. It is possible to reduce an error even if the block size of the power amplifier is small.
