The present invention relates to a 24-hour electric power demand forecasting apparatus and an electric power demand forecasting method using hourly temperature. The power demand forecasting method according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a predicted temperature reception step of receiving predicted temperature data corresponding to the temperature forecast of a target day; a similarity extracting step of allowing the power demand forecasting apparatus to compare the predicted temperature data with a preset temperature history database and to extract a similar date corresponding to the temperature change pattern of the predicted temperature data; and a predicted power demand pattern generation step of allowing the power demand forecasting apparatus to extract a measured power demand pattern measured in the similar day from the preset power demand database and to generate the predicted power demand pattern of a target day by using the measured power demand pattern.
