The present invention relates to an anti-obesity composition containing absolute or cinnamyl alcohol extracted from Castanea crenata var. dulcis flowers, and health functional food containing thereof. The anti-obesity composition exhibits excellent adipocyte differentiation inhibitory activity and the adipocyte differentiation-related protein expression inhibitory activity, and thus provides an excellent anti-obesity effect.
