METHOD OF GENERATING A NEWS ARTICLES SUMMARIZATIONS AND AN APPARATUS FOR THE SAME

A method for generating a news article summary is disclosed. An embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving news article data; classifying the received news article data into speech and sentence portions; tagging the speech portion with a representative word; segmenting the sentence portion; and extracting the tagged representative word and the segmented sentence portion in a vector format. Accordingly, a user can receive only the necessary news article among various news articles.
