The present invention relates to a method for producing ITY yarn having hemp fiber properties, in which a polyester POY FD filament as effect yarn and a polyester SDY filament as core yarn are supplied, respectively, and air is intermittently supplied to be interlaced, and according to the present invention, an ultraviolet screening material is used as yarn to improve comfort properties, and composite yarn to which the hemp fiber properties are provided can be obtained by the intermittent interlace, wherein TiO_2 particles contained in the yarn are prevented from being separated from or removed from a filament by a guide, thereby improving the workability and a working environment.
