The present invention relates to an efficient control method for marine algae via physicochemical co-treatment. According to the invention, a method for controlling algae by treating an algae by co-treating the algae with organic acid or an oxidizing agent along with hot water. It has been confirmed that remarkably excellent synergistic effects are shown based on a Colby′s method compared with a case that the oxidizing agent, organic acid, and hot water are solely treated, thereby being applicable to efficiently alleviating mass-occurrence of marine algae. In addition, by co-treating the oxidizing agent or the organic acid along with hot water, it is possible to rapidly eradicate green tide even under mild condition (low temperature and compound concentration compared to single treatment).
