The present invention relates to a method for planning and/or controlling a medical image examination by a mobile terminal which comprises the steps of: setting a data connection between a medical image device and a mobile terminal by a data network unit; transmitting specific examination data to the mobile terminal; sensing a signal by at least one sensor of the mobile terminal; generating a planning command and/or a control command as a function of the specific examination data based on the sensed signal; transmitting the planning command and/or the control command to a control unit of the medical image device; and executing the planning command and/or the control command by the control unit to plan and/or control a medical image examination.
