Introduced is a human detecting system using a figure image projected on an eyeball. To this end, the human detecting system according to the present invention includes: a display unit which is connected to a camera for photographing a face of a visitor and on which the photographed face of the visitor is projected; a storage unit for displaying an arbitrarily selected figure among previously stored various figures on the display unit and transmitting guidance information to watch the figure displayed on the display unit to the visitor when the visitor tries authentication; and a control unit for detecting a pupil area from the face of the visitor photographed by the camera and making the figure image projected on the eyeball of the pupil which is detected clear. The control unit determines whether to allow the entrance of the visitor by determining similarity by comparing the arbitrarily selected figure among previously stored various figures with the figure image projected on the eyeball of the pupil which is detected. Accordingly, the present invention can improve the reliability of an authenticating apparatus.
