PCE FA-LSP SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RELEASING PCE BASED FA-LSP OF MULTI-LAYER NETWORKS

Disclosed are a path computation element (PCE)-based forwarding adjacency-label switched paths (FA-LSP) releasing system of a multi-layer network, and a method thereof which can effectively use a network while increasing stability of the network. The PCE-based FA-LSP releasing method comprises the following steps: a path computation client (PCC) requests a PCE to release an FA-LSP when the FA-LSP set as an upper layer resource is not used in a multi-layer network system; the PCE determines whether the FA-LSP is released based on network state management information; and the PCC maintains or releases the FA-LSP according to a determined released state.
