The present invention relates to a code recognition device which can be used in an educational robot, a toy, and the like, and to a code recognition assembly including the same. To this end, the code recognition device according to an embodiment of the present invention can recognize information from a code block including image information on the bottom side. The code recognition device includes: a receiving unit capable of receiving a part of the code block; a code sensing module disposed in the receiving unit; and a control unit generating a control command based on information sensed by the code sensing module.
