The main object of the present invention is to provide a novel process for preparing copper-containing silicoaluminate forms of AEI zeolite structures by direct synthesis methodology. This new process involves the process of combining the organometallic copper-complex with an additional organic molecule capable of inducing crystallization of the silicoaluminate form of the AEI zeolite structure as an organic structure-inducing agent (OSDA).
