According to the present invention, a mutual compatible method between an IEC61850 and an OPC UA comprises: a first step of modeling an IEC61850 information model as an information model form defined in the OPC UA; a second step of adding the IEC61850 information model modeled through the first step in an address space of the OPC UA to occupy as a node; and a third step of interconnecting the IEC61850 and the OPC UA by using inter-processor communication (IPC) to mutually match the IEC61850 and the OPC UA. Therefore, the mutual compatible method between an IEC61850 and an OPC UA can operate and manage a substation using the IEC61850 in an OPC UA client.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
