The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an electrical contact material using a silver-silver coated carbon nanotube composite material. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a silver coated carbon nanotube by performing an electroless plating process with a silver nanoparticle to carbon nanotube dispersed in tetrahydrofuran and a method of manufacturing an electrical contact material by manufacturing a silver-silver coated carbon nanotube composite material by mechanically alloying the silver coated carbon nanotube with silver powder. Therefore, the electrical contact material having enhanced dispersibility of the carbon nanotube can be enhanced and improved heat dissipation and arc resistance of the silver-silver coated carbon nanotube composite material can be manufactured.
