Disclosed are a ceria nanocomposite for treating subarachnoid hemorrhage containing ceria nanoparticles, a production method thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition. The disclosed ceria nanocomposite for treating subarachnoid hemorrhage contains the ceria nanoparticles and a surface modified layer disposed on a surface of the ceria nanoparticle. The surface modified layer comprises a polyethylene glycol residue.
