The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a camera window and a camera window manufactured thereby. The manufacturing method of a camera window formed with a transmission portion on a central portion thereof and with a pattern around the transmission portion comprises the following steps of: forming a mask layer for cell unit pattern processing on a front surface or both surfaces of disk glass; forming a pattern layer by a cell unit on the disk glass by patterning the mask layer for pattern processing; forming a front pattern in a cell unit on the front surface of the disk glass by an etching process by using the pattern layer as a mask; removing the mask layer for pattern processing and forming a mask layer for shape processing on the front surface and a back surface of the disk glass formed with the front pattern; shape-processing the disk glass formed with the front pattern by a cell unit by patterning the mask layer for shape processing; removing the mask layer for shape processing and strengthening the disk glass formed with the front pattern; forming a functional layer in a cell unit on the back surface or both surfaces of the disk glass formed with the front pattern; and forming a camera window by separating the disk glass formed with the front pattern into cell units. According to the present invention, a front pattern is implemented on a front surface of disk glass to enable direct external recognition of the pattern, and thus it is possible to provide a camera window which does not require a deposition layer and can recognize a clearer pattern line.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
