According to one embodiment of the present invention, a non-powered flying unit for observation comprises: a body unit mounted on launching equipment to be flown towards a preset target direction upon operating the launching equipment and then falling towards the ground from a position of a top dead point (TDP) by self-weight; a propeller unit coupled to the body unit to automatically generate rotational power by a drag applied to the body part during a fall of the body unit so as to decrease a falling speed of the body unit; and an image unit installed in the body unit to acquire image information about the ground during the fall of the body unit. According to the present invention, since the non-powered flying unit has a structure mounted on launching equipment, such as a bullet, a small rocket, etc., to be launched towards a high altitude in an emergency situation, such as a disaster, security, etc., and then acquires the image information about the ground while gradually falling towards the ground as the rotational power is automatically generated by the drag, usage is simple and separate operation is not required during flying; thus providing an effect of not requiring a preparation time for operation and quickly observing around an emergency situation occurring area.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
