APPARATUS FOR CLASSIFYING SKIN CONDITIONS AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATING SKIN CONDITION CLASSIFICATION MODEL USED ON THE SAME APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF

A skin condition classification apparatus, a skin condition classification model generation apparatus used in the skin condition classification apparatus and a method thereof are disclosed. A structure storage unit in the skin condition classification model generation apparatus stores a plurality of classifying structures wherein each of the classifying structures includes a dictionary which have learnt a plurality of skin images, a sparse representation extracted from the dictionary and a classifier generated from the sparse representation. A structure generation unit generates the plurality of classifying structures using a sparse coding algorithm for data of a plurality of skin images and stores the generated structures in the structure storage unit. A final model generation unit applies an adoboosting algorithm to a plurality of classifiers of the structure storage unit to generate a boosting sparse coding model which is a final skin condition classification model. By using the final skin condition classification model, the skin condition classification apparatus can perform accurate skin condition classification on a new image.
