Disclosed are a security image processing method using visual cryptography based on a time domain and an apparatus thereof. The image processing method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps: receiving an input image; dividing the received input image into a plurality of images using a noise pattern; and generating a security image for the input image based on the time domain for the plurality of divided images. The image processing method further includes the step of continuously providing visually cryptographed images included in the security image on the time domain. Accordingly, the present invention can enhance security on a screen shot.
