The present invention discloses a system and a method for analyzing a gait and computer readable recording medium, which can generate a meaningful model capable of determining a severity of a knee joint disease through machine learning with respect to joint angle information of a pedestrian. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for analyzing a gait comprises the following steps of: measuring a leg joint angle of the pedestrian through an inertial measuring device attached to a pedestrian body; extracting a gait event by using gyroscope data obtained through the inertial measuring device; detecting a gait step from the gait event, and subdividing the joint angle for each gait step; performing the machine learning with respect to the joint angle subdivided for each gait step, and classifying into a plurality of groups according to data properties; and determining the severity of the knee joint disease with respect to the plurality of groups.
