Disclosed is a scream detector located in an indoor space. The scream detector includes: a voice input unit for receiving a voice of a user located in the indoor space; a control unit for determining whether the voice of the user is screaming by analyzing the received voice of the user; and a warning output unit for outputting a warning sound and outputting a warning indicator when it is determined that the voice of the user is screaming.
