METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING BASE OF BRIDGE PIER IN WATER AND STRUCTURE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a method to construct a pier in water and a construction method thereof. According to the present invention, the construction structure comprises: two or more piles driven and installed into the ground under the water; a casing disposed to support the piles and having a protrusion part outwardly protruding from a position separated from the top of the pile; a precast block having a through-hole for receiving the casing to be supported and held to the protrusion part in a shape of allowing the through-hole to surround the casing; and pier parts installed on the upper side of the precast block. Accordingly, without a cofferdam requiring high costs and a long construction period, a pier is able to be constructed with a precast block, installed and supported to the top of the pile, at low costs in a short period regardless of a height variance in a bedrock topology.
