Disclosed are a soil sensor device utilizing weather information for improving accuracy of error detection, a controlling method thereof, and recording medium recording a computer program. The present invention measures moisture and the temperature of a soil through a soil sensor, collects weather information of a region in which the corresponding soil sensor is located, and determines whether data measured through the soil sensor has an error by utilizing the collected weather information of the region in which the corresponding soil sensor is located, thereby increasing accuracy with respect to error detection of the data measured through the soil sensor and providing reliable data. The soil sensor device utilizing weather information comprises: a plurality of soil sensors; a communication part; and a control part.
