According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a three-phase AC-DC converter which can protect a system from a short circuit accident since a self-failure diagnosis can be realized and the converter can be stably operated without a short circuit in an internal circuit by simply detecting a waveform of a voltage applied to both ends of a rectifying unit.
