The present invention relates to a method for providing a graphic user interface capable of performing intuitional partial discharge analysis, and to a partial discharge remote diagnosis system for providing a graphic user interface capable of performing intuitional partial discharge analysis by using the method. Positions of a plurality of sensors for detecting partial discharge by being installed on a power device are displayed with a plurality of dots on an image of the power device. At a speed proportional to increase and decrease rates of the magnitude of an output signal of each sensor, an animation is displayed which is gradually expanded or reduced on the basis of each dot. A user observes an enlargement speed or a reduction speed of an animation, and thus can intuitionally find out a type of partial discharge generated in a power device. Accordingly, even a beginner in the field of partial discharge diagnosis can intuitionally, easily, and accurately diagnose a type of partial discharge generated in a power device.
