According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for transferring emotion includes a user recognizing part for recognizing at least one of a user voice and a user image, an emotion information generating part for analyzing at least one of the recognized user voice and the recognized user image to generate user emotion information, a vibrotactile information generating part for generating vibrotactile information based on the generated user emotion information; and a data processing part which generates user emotion data based on the generated vibrotactile information and at least one of the recognized user voice and user image and transmits the generated user emotion data to a device of the other party connected by communication.
