The present invention relates to a method for controlling a vehicle based on destination prediction and a system thereof. The method comprises the steps of: finding a driving pattern by using driving information received from a vehicle; finding a driving model corresponding to the driving pattern from a pre-stored driving model; finding a destination of the found driving model as a predicted destination; generating vehicle control information corresponding to the predicted destination; and providing the vehicle control information to a vehicle of a member to perform a vehicle operation according to the vehicle control information. By providing the vehicle control information, performed is an operation beneficial to a driver or the vehicle while driving to the predicted destination based on various types of information obtained by predicting the destination.
