Provided are an alarm information analysis system in a multivariate time-series monitoring system, to provide a means for analyzing an association between an alarm and abnormality in a simple and efficient method; and a method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the alarm information analysis system comprises: a data collection unit to collect first binary data representing alarm occurrence by each alarm type, and second binary data representing alarm occurrence by each abnormality type; a data analysis unit to search for one or more association rules representing association between the alarm included in the first binary data and the abnormality included in the second binary data; and a data classification unit to determine an abnormality type associated with at least one of the alarm types from the searched association rule.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
