The present invention relates to a method for detecting heavy metal ions in contaminated soil, which comprises the steps of: collecting soil sample; pretreating the collected sample with an acid for extracting heavy metal ions to extract heavy metal ions; accommodating the extracted heavy metal ion in one of a plurality of wells of a microfluidic chip to proceed with a detection reaction; mounting the microfluidic chip on a mobile adapter; using a mobile device to analyze the content of the microfluidic chip; and making an analysis result displayed on the mobile device. According to the present invention, heavy metal ions are extracted from a sample and then injected into the microfluidic chip, and how much soil is contaminated by heavy metal ions is determined by using the mobile device, thereby enabling instant and accurate data for heavy metal detection to be obtained in a field rapidly.
