The present invention relates to a polyurethane foam for sound absorbing materials with a higher sound absorption coefficient with respect to air travelling noises than conventional polyurethane foam sound-absorbing materials. The polyurethane foam for sound absorbing materials according to the present invention can have superior sound absorption performance to conventional polyurethane foam sound-absorbing materials by using magnesium oxide or aluminum oxide as filler, and can secure more enhanced compression strength and flame retardancy. In particular, the polyurethane foam for sound-absorbing materials according to the present invention has a desirable sound absorption coefficient, and thus can effectively control air travelling noises which form the largest portion of the high-frequency range of automotive noises.
