The present invention relates to a surplus space sharing relay method of a hand baggage and a system thereof. The surplus space sharing relay method of a hand baggage comprises the steps of: (a) executing, by a consignee terminal, an application providing a surplus space sharing relay service, inputting consignment information including flight information including a flight number of a consignee, a travel category, and an available space and weight information on a hand baggage of the consignee, and transmitting the consignment information and user information on the consignee to a sharing device; (b) performing, by the sharing device, authentication on the basis of the user information on the consignee and storing the same in a consignment DB on the basis of the consignment information; (c) executing, by a truster terminal, the application providing the surplus space sharing relay service, and inputting, by a truster, trust information including a destination and item information including volume and quantity of an item to be delivered, and transmitting the trust information and user information on the truster to the sharing device; and (d) performing, by the sharing device, authentication on the basis of the user information on the truster, storing the same in a trust DB on the basis of the trust information, and matching the consignment information stored in the consignment DB and the trust information stored in the trust DB to generate matching information.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
