The present invention relates to a radial tire having cap ply formed of a polyethylene terephthalate dip cord. The radial tire includes: a pair of parallel bead cores; at least one radial carcass ply wound around the bead core; a cap ply layer laminated on an outer circumference of the carcass ply; and a cap fly reinforcement layer formed on the outer circumference of the cap ply layer in the circumferential direction, wherein the cap ply includes a dip cord manufactured by using 500 to 2000 denier yarns formed of polyethylene terephthalate high strength yarn in the form of 1 ply or 2 ply, in which a 1500 d/2 dip cord has a force-deformation curve to extend less than 4.0% at an initial stress of 5 kgf, extend less than or equal to 7.3% at a stress of 10 kgf, and extend at least 1.5% or more from 16 kgf until being cut.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
