The present invention relates to a method for detecting a grassland boundary using image-based color information, which comprises: a first step of extracting a road boundary candidate from an image input through a camera; a second step of grouping an extracted road boundary candidate image into a plurality of groups and obtaining a lower end point thereof to obtain a boundary between a road and a grassland; a third step of linearizing a plurality of pieces of image data in which the lower end point is obtained; and a fourth step of outputting linearized road boundary data.
