The present invention relates to a system for displaying a remaining area of a parking lot through license plate recognition, capable of preventing a hassle of a driver to look for a parking area at the parking lot. The system for displaying a remaining area of a parking lot through license plate recognition according to the present invention includes the steps of: taking a photo from a camera; transmitting the taken photo to a sub computer; recognizing a license plate by analyzing the photo; transmitting data to a server based on information about the recognized license plate and a sensor position; and displaying the updated information using the same in an android application.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
