The present invention relates to an occlusal state specification method to display a maxilla image corresponding to scan data acquired by a dental three-dimensional (3D) scanner device in a desired direction and position; an occlusal state specification device; and a storage medium thereof. According to the present invention, the occlusal state specification method executed by a processor included in an occlusal state specification device acquires shape data of maxillary and mandible sides; disposes a maxillary image including a plurality of maxillary teeth corresponding to the acquired shape data of the maxillary side, and a mandibular image including a plurality of mandibular teeth corresponding to the acquired shape data of the mandibular side to allow corresponding teeth to face each other; executes a process to move either or both of the disposed maxillary and mandibular images by execution of dynamic simulation; and specifies a position relationship between the moved maxillary and mandibular images as a position relationship corresponding to the occlusal state between the maxillary teeth included in the maxillary image and the mandibular teeth included in the mandibular image.
